Myriah is a Licensed Vocational Nurse and woman in long-term recovery. A Los Angeles native, she has dedicated her professional life to caring for individuals navigating substance use and mental health challenges. Her healthcare experience includes working in emergency medical services as a licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), where she provided direct patient care in prehospital and ambulance settings. Myriah is continuing her education at Santa Monica College as she works toward becoming a Registered Nurse.

Myriah’s passion for addiction treatment is deeply personal. Having experienced the darkness and isolation of active addiction herself, she understands how difficult it can be to imagine a different life while in the midst of it. Through her own recovery, she has experienced firsthand the freedom, beauty, and possibility that sobriety can bring. She believes those experiences have given her a unique responsibility to serve others with compassion and empathy while offering something equally important: hope.

Her lived experience, combined with her clinical background, allows Myriah to connect with patients from a place of genuine understanding while providing thoughtful, compassionate medical care. She strives to be a living example that recovery is possible and that a life once consumed by addiction can become meaningful, joyful, and full of purpose.

At Peak Path Health, Myriah’s goal is for every patient who walks through the doors to feel understood, cared for, respected, and never defined by where they are in their journey. Through compassionate nursing care and authentic human connection, she hopes to help patients see sobriety not simply as giving something up, but as an opportunity to discover an entirely new way of living.

As Myriah describes her own experience: “The world didn’t change when I got sober—I changed, and everything became brighter.”
