Steve Dixon is the Clinical Director at Peak Path Health and a Los Angeles native with a distinguished background as a United States Navy veteran. He holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in English from Missouri State University, as well as a Master’s degree in Psychology from Phillips Graduate University. He has worked in the addiction and mental health field since 2015 as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Steve has served in multiple treatment settings as both a Primary Therapist and Clinical Director, bringing deep clinical experience and steady leadership to every program he supports. His clinical approach integrates CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and psychodynamic modalities, allowing him to meet clients with both structure and compassion. After leaving the military, Steve witnessed many of his fellow service members struggle with PTSD and substance use disorders. These experiences shaped his commitment to understanding trauma at its roots and providing care that is both clinically effective and deeply human. Steve is passionate about ensuring that every service delivered is ethical, thoughtful, and truly beneficial to those seeking care. He is proud to work alongside Peak Path Health’s multidisciplinary team, united by a shared mission to help individuals reclaim stability, purpose, and hope.
