Glynis Franz | Co-Founder & Director of Marketing and Business Development

Glynis brings nearly six years of hands-on experience in behavioral health and addiction treatment. Starting from an entry-level administrative role, she advanced through leadership positions, including Housing Director, Admissions Coordinator, and Director of Business Development. Glynis has also led business development for a multi-site organization with over 100 patients, managing SEO and ad campaigns while directing outreach teams.

Deeply connected to the recovery community, Glynis brings empathy, authenticity, and innovation to Peak Path Health. Outside of work, she is an avid marathon runner, live music enthusiast, and proud Boston native now enjoying the California sun.

Dustin Kerr | Co-Founder & Director of Operations, CADC II

Dustin has over five years of leadership experience working in behavioral health, ensuring seamless collaboration across clinical, admissions, and business development teams. He has completed the core requirements for CADC II certification in California, including thousands of supervised hours in AOD counseling and specialized education. A Texas native and Southern California resident of 15 years, Dustin brings discipline, vision, and heart to his work. He is passionate about helping individuals thrive in recovery and enjoys the outdoors, golf, and travel.

Brad Silver | Co-Founder & Executive Director

Brad combines financial expertise with operational leadership. With a background in finance at Wells Fargo and Chase, he entered behavioral health over 12 years ago following his own recovery, turning his experience into a mission to help others.

He has built and overseen multiple inpatient programs in Florida and Los Angeles, creating operational systems that support high-performing treatment environments. Outside of work, Brad enjoys old-school hip-hop, classic rock, Philadelphia sports, live music, and cinema.

David DuVivier | Co-Founder & Director of Alumni and Family Services, CADC

With over a decade of experience in group therapy, individual counseling, and family services, David brings deep expertise and compassion to his role. He draws on his clinical background to provide insight into family dynamics and long-term recovery support, while preparing for CADC I certification.

Raised in San Diego and based in Los Angeles for 20 years, David is dedicated to supporting individuals and families in need of behavioral health care. He enjoys basketball, traveling, and spending time with family.

Dr. Eric Chaghouri | Medical Director

Dr. Chaghouri, a UCLA and USC-trained psychiatrist, specializes in co-occurring psychiatric and addictive disorders. He leads a private practice in West Hollywood and Century City, consulting with attorneys, courts, and major television networks while supervising a team of clinicians.

His professional focus includes addiction medicine, forensic psychiatry, medical ethics, gender wellness, and evidence-based psychiatric treatment.

Steve Dixon | Clinical Director, LMFT

Steve Dixon is the Clinical Director at Peak Path Health and a Los Angeles native with a distinguished background as a United States Navy veteran. He holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in English from Missouri State University, as well as a Master’s degree in Psychology from Phillips Graduate University. He has worked in the addiction and mental health field since 2015 as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Steve has served in multiple treatment settings as both a Primary Therapist and Clinical Director, bringing deep clinical experience and steady leadership to every program he supports. His clinical approach integrates CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and psychodynamic modalities, allowing him to meet clients with both structure and compassion.

After leaving the military, Steve witnessed many of his fellow service members struggle with PTSD and substance use disorders. These experiences shaped his commitment to understanding trauma at its roots and providing care that is both clinically effective and deeply human.

Steve is passionate about ensuring that every service delivered is ethical, thoughtful, and truly beneficial to those seeking care. He is proud to work alongside Peak Path Health’s multidisciplinary team, united by a shared mission to help individuals reclaim stability, purpose, and hope.

Jade Mackie | Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician (RADT)

Jade Mackie is a Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician (RADT) with over six years of experience in substance use treatment, including working in detox, residential, and outpatient settings. She has experience facilitating groups and supporting clients with case management needs, including aftercare planning, navigating FMLA and SDI paperwork, and connecting clients with community resources.

Jade has completed her schooling toward her CADC and is currently finishing her internship. With seven years of personal sobriety, she brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work, helping clients navigate recovery with compassion, understanding, and practical support.

Shaza Hummel | Nurse Practitioner

Shaza Hummel is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. After working as an RN in hospital settings for 8 years, she earned a Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Azusa Pacific University and later completed a Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric-Mental Health at California State University, Los Angeles. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, San Diego. Her experience includes critical care nursing, clinical research, and work as a primary provider within a variety of inpatient and outpatient addiction treatment programs. Outside of work, she loves spending time with family and picking fresh fruit from the garden.
