Dr. Eric Chaghouri graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Biology (Summa Cum Laude) and was named UCLA Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2007. He earned his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine of USC in 2011, trained at Cedars-Sinai and LAC+USC, and served as Chief Resident in Psychiatric Emergency Services. He completed his fellowship in forensic psychiatry at the USC Institute of Psychiatry and Law.
Today, Dr. Chaghouri runs a thriving private practice in West Hollywood and Century City, specializing in co-occurring psychiatric and addictive disorders. He also consults with attorneys, courts, and major television networks, while leading and supervising a team of clinicians.
His professional interests include addiction medicine, forensic psychiatry, medical ethics, psychological autopsy, gender wellness, and evidence-based psychiatric treatment.
